Course Care

Bunkers

Before leaving a bunker, a player should rake & smooth over all holes, footprints & divot marks. The rake should be replaced to one side of the bunker.

Divots & Pitch-Marks

Throughout all fairways a player should ensure that any turf cut or displaced by him/her is replaced at once and pressed down to minimise damage to the course.

Any damage to the putting green (e.g. a pitch-mark) made by the ball or the player is to be carefully repaired.

Damage to Greens, Flagsticks etc.

Players should ensure that when putting down bags or the flag-stick no damage is done to the putting green. Neither they or their caddies should damage the hole by standing close to it, in handling the flagstick or removing the ball from the hole. The flagstick must be correctly replaced before players leave the green.

Damage Through Practice Swings

In taking practice swings players should avoid causing damage to the course, and if such damage is to a fairway it should be repaired/replaced. No practice swings permitted on the tee boxes.

Practice on the Course

This shall be limited to two (2) balls except on the designated practice areas (i.e. the putting green, chipping area around #9 green, practice fairway on #3).
